Katalyst Application Integration Platform Enterprise Features
Role-based cross-enterprise sharing and management.
- With the click of a button, deploy and share robots and data models directly to a repository for sharing in your organization.
- Based on your user-role permission, perform operations such as real-time execution, task scheduling or automatic API generation.
- Schedule tasks to run at predefined times, with predefined input data or resource files, and on either staging or production servers.
- With Kapow's automatic Java or .NET API code generation, easily call robots directly from your preferred application development IDE such as Microsoft Visual Studio, Eclipse or Net Beans.
Enterprise security and governance- Kapow RoboServer integrates with your standard enterprise user/role management system and LDAP/Active Directory server.
- In accordance with enterprise policies, system administrators can provision and manage access to different functions, plus encrypt communication with RoboServer using secure protocols and certificates. This allows you to use Kapow Katalyst in environments with high network and data security requirements.

Enterprise system operations management and monitoring- You can't monitor an enterprise production environment with e-mails and log-files alone. The Management Console continuously monitors the health and resource-use of your RoboServer clusters in production.
- Kapow RoboServer plugs into standard JMX or SNMP based enterprise monitoring tools (e.g., Tivoli and HP OpenView).
- Access real-time data on memory usage, load distribution, and more using either a standard browser or the enterprise monitoring system of your choice.
- Point and click to drill into detailed resource statistics and log messages.
High availability, scalable deployment -- on-premise or in the cloud
- Kapow Katalyst has been proven in the most demanding operating environments with extreme high performance and throughput requirements.
- The Management Console and the shared repository runs on standard J2EE enterprise application servers (e.g., Tomcat, IBM Websphere, Oracle WebLogic) — in multiple configurations, from one to many servers, behind the firewall or in the cloud — to leverage current IT infrastructure.
- Maximize the output of your production environment and scale seamlessly to meet growing demand using Katalyst's features such as advanced scheduling and load distribution policies.
- Automated load-balancing and fail-over support in the Management Console for high availability/high load setups for critical 24/7 operations.
Enterprise integration- Use documented APIs to call Kapow robots programmatically, pulling the API code from the repository in Java or .NET as needed to run the robot.
- Deploy robots as web services on an enterprise service bus.
- Deliver data into CSV and XML files or any major SQL database including, MS SQL Server, Oracle, IBM DB2, Sybase and MySQL.
