- A leading Asian telco wanted to consolidate 15 customer facing portals onto 1 platform to give the company a more cohesive brand and enable them to better cross-sell services and products. Yellow pages, youth content, social networking, broadband and other services were present on individual portals, leaving the user to browse multiple sources.
- The project involved a new CMS, a new portal system and a myriad of underlying databases and other systems.
- Time was of the essence and the budget was extremely constrained -- less than half of what just 1 portal had initially cost to develop.
Solution
- Kapow carried out a POC that involved an integration and common interface for 3 separate major portal functions, complete with single sign-on to the applications.
